Siliguri is a metropolitan city in West Bengal, located on the banks of the Mahananda River and the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a principal commercial, tourism, transportation, and educational center of North Bengal. It is famous for its four 'T's i.e.; Tea, Transport, Tourism and Timber. This rapidly growing city is well connected by Air way, Rail way & Road way with rest of India. All tourists need to reach here first, and then they can move towards Darjeeling, Dooars & Sikkim. Siliguri is also the main trade centre for all hilly regions, Dooars & the countries near around like Bangladesh, Nepal & Bhutan.

Dudhia is a tranquil tourist spot. Dudhia is a small hamlet on Mirik-Siliguri highway on the bank of river Balason.
Located 6 km from the city, the Buddhist shrine is visited by tourists for meditation. It was established by Tibetan monks and followers of religious leader, His Holiness Dalai Lama.
The Science City:
Science City, located at Matigara, 5 km north of Siliguri city alongside National Highway 31, is a highly accomplished institution. The Science City, also known as North Bengal Science Centre, exhibits many scientific equipment and experiments.
International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as Hare Krishna Movement manages the ISCKON temple, Siliguri. The temple houses many idols of Advaita Acharya, Lord Narasimha, Lord Chaitanya and many more.
Savin Kingdom & Water Park:
An amusement park along with Water Park is situated around 04 km from city, a good place to hang out for locals and visitors. For all age groups, this park is absolutely good place. Lots of ride along with water game can be done hare. In same campus, there is a multiplex called Cinemax. Near this campus there is a lotus tample dedicated to Baba Lokenath.
